ABOUT THE OPERATOR: Don Nimigon is a long time resident of Marmora and well known for his vast knowledge of the area and local wildlife. Don has spent thousands of hours tracking, trapping and exploring the vast expanses of private lands available for the perfect hunt. Originally from the Whitby area, Don has over 40 years of hunting experience. He has taken countless big game, using archery, black powder and modern firearm. Don has fished from coast to coast across Canada and now enjoys the challenges of fishing the small secluded lakes in central Ontario looking for that bass of a lifetime. His passion as a dedicated outdoorsman finds him in the wilds of Shanick each and every day. Don has been a member of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters for 30 years and is also a licensed trapper and a member of the Ontario Fur Managers Association. His commitment to the community also keeps Don busy as a certified Ontario Hunter Education Instructor, appointed through the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
